Separate confidential practice

Clinical counseling for grief, child loss, and life after profound change.

Virtual counseling offers a private place to speak honestly about grief, traumatic memories, guilt, depression, relationships, caregiving strain, identity, and the daily work of continuing to live after life has changed.

Finding the right fit

Support should understand more than grief in theory.

Counseling may be appropriate when child loss or another profound loss is affecting sleep, concentration, relationships, work, self-care, hope, or the ability to manage everyday life. You do not need to arrive ready to tell the entire story or accept a timeline for grief.

Use the confidential inquiry page to ask about current availability, fees, insurance participation, virtual appointments, scheduling, clinical fit, and whether a different service or level of care would be more appropriate.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a counseling relationship. Do not send detailed medical records, insurance numbers, or urgent safety information through ordinary email.

Important distinction

Compassion Navigator and clinical counseling are separate.

Compassion Navigator offers educational resources, supportive products, and non-clinical grief-informed services. It is not crisis care and is not a substitute for individualized mental-health treatment.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, cannot remain safe, or face a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
